Our Patrons are people from across the hospitality industry who want to give something back by helping those who need it to take their first step into a career within the industry.
For more than 35 years, Springboard has helped people facing barriers to employment gain the skills, confidence and opportunities they need to get into work, while inspiring young people to discover the opportunities hospitality can offer.
As a Patron, your invaluable support helps us to continue this work and change people’s lives.
Every penny donated by our Patrons goes directly towards our charitable programmes
Your support can have a direct and tangible impact:
£5k could fund an inspiring Hospitality Careers Session for 160 school pupils, introducing them to a variety of future careers in the industry
£25k could fund a life-changing training course for 12 people, helping them secure work in the hospitality industry
Why become a Patron?
By becoming a Springboard Patron, you will:
- Be invited to our annual Patron networking reception and dinner, where we can thank you for your support and share updates on our work
- Invest in the future of our industry
- Benefit from higher-rate tax relief, where applicable
- Help unemployed people facing barriers to work take their first step towards a career in hospitality
- Help young people discover the opportunities and career pathways the industry can offer
- Become part of a valued community of hospitality leaders and supporters who want to give something back
- Be recognised as a Patron on the Springboard website and in appropriate literature
Patron Support:
A Springboard Patron makes a personal commitment of £5,000 to cover 5 years
(payment can be split across 5 years with a commitment of £1,000 a year)
Life Patron Support:
For those who would like to make a larger contribution, Life Patron status is available for a minimum commitment of £25,000.
Your support can be made personally, through Gift Aid, or via a personal foundation or organisation such as the Charities Aid Foundation.

Once you have joined, we will send you a Patron certificate and invite you to share a photograph, short biography and a few words about why you support Springboard. With your permission, these can be featured on our website and in our publications.
